Mai bine o s\u0103 vin la birou m\u00e2ine diminea\u021ba la \u0219ase. \u00cen doua ore treaba v\u0103 fi gata&#8221;.<br \/>\nO s\u0103 vorbim alta data despre metodele prin care putem profita de aceasta uimitoare capacitate a intelectului nostru. Important este c\u0103 ac\u021bion\u00e2nd doar pe baza a ceea ce numim &#8222;bun simt&#8221;, daca dorim \u00eentr-adev\u0103r s\u0103 fim oameni de succes, unicul r\u0103spuns inteligent la mesajele &#8222;vocii&#8221; este aceasta: &#8222;Mul\u021bumesc pentru c\u0103 m-ai avertizat!&#8221;.<br \/>\nEste adev\u0103rat c\u0103 deseori vocea aceasta v\u0103 deranja, este s\u00e2c\u00e2itoare, intervine \u00een momente &#8222;nepotrivite&#8221;, dar daca vre\u021bi s\u0103 ajunge\u021bi la succes, ar fi mai bine s\u0103 v\u0103 ruga\u021bi pentru c\u0103 &#8222;ea&#8221; s\u0103 vorbeasc\u0103 c\u00e2t mai des posibil.<br \/>\nDaca o asculta\u021bi \u0219i elimina\u021bi obstacolul semnalat, oric\u00e2t de mic ar fi acesta, este probabil c\u0103 ve\u021bi ajunge \u00een situa\u021bia \u00een care numai ave\u021bi nici o scuza pentru a pierde.<\/p>\n<h2>De ce ne preg\u0103tim scuze dinainte<\/h2>\n<p>Ce \u00eenseamn\u0103 aceasta? Intre timp el \u0219i-a dat seama c\u0103 \u00eentr-adev\u0103r a f\u0103cut o gre\u0219eal\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd a scris acel nume. Dar acum este prea t\u0103rziu. De fiecare data c\u00e2nd se v\u0103 g\u00e2ndi la acest insucces, el v\u0103 da vina pe faptul c\u0103 oferta s\u0103 a fost respinsa doar pentru c\u0103 a scris gre\u0219it numele pre\u0219edintelui.<\/p>\n<h2>Psihologia autosabot\u0103rii<\/h2>\n<p>De fapt ce s-a \u00eent\u00e2mplat? De ce acest individ, dup\u0103 ce a petrecut s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2ni pentru a pune la punct o oferta competitiva, nu a g\u0103sit cele doua minute necesare pentru a verifica \u0219i corecta acel nume? Ce crede\u021bi c\u0103 simte el acum? \u00ce\u0219i face poate procese de con\u0219tiin\u021b\u0103? Este posibil c\u0103 cineva s\u0103 resping\u0103 o oferta preg\u0103tit\u0103 cu grija numai datorita faptului c\u0103 numele sau nu a fost scris corect \u00een scrisoarea de acompaniament?<br \/>\nMarian nu v\u0103 \u0219ti niciodat\u0103. Totu\u0219i v\u0103 folosi \u00eentotdeauna aceasta &#8222;sc\u0103pare&#8221;drept scuza pentru insuccesul sau. Neluand \u00een considerare un detaliu aparent nesemnificativ, de care era totu\u0219i con\u0219tient, Marian a la\u0219at u\u0219a deschisa pentru nenum\u0103rate \u00eendoieli, remu\u0219c\u0103ri \u0219i mai ales v\u0103 r\u0103m\u00e2ne cu acea obsedanta incertitudine: cu un pic de aten\u021bie \u00een plus ar fi putut ob\u021bine un important succes?<\/p>\n<p>Personal, am v\u0103zut at\u00e2t de des presta\u021bii poten\u021bial excep\u021bionale compromise din cauza unor mici erori, unor detalii aparent nesemnificative care puteau fi rezolvate cu un minim de efort, \u00eenc\u00e2t refuz s\u0103 cred c\u0103 este vorba de ceva \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103tor. Mai aproape de adev\u0103r mi se pare ideea c\u0103 aceste gre\u0219eli au fost comise \u00eentr-un mod mai mult sau mai pu\u021bin con\u0219tient.<br \/>\nEste oare posibil s\u0103 fie a\u0219a? \u00cen cazul acesta care ar fi motiva\u021bia individului care se autosaboteaza aproape deliberat?<\/p>\n<h2>Gre\u0219eli mici, consecin\u021be mari<\/h2>\n<p>Fapt este c\u0103, daca pot afirma c\u0103 am f\u0103cut tot ceea ce st\u0103tea \u00een puterea mea (apropo, iat\u0103 o \u00eentrebare ce poate fi folosita \u00een orice situa\u021bie: &#8222;\u00een acest moment fac \u00eentr-adev\u0103r tot ceea ce este posibil pentru a atinge rezultatul dorit?&#8221;), nu mai am nici o scuza cu care s\u0103-mi justific e\u0219ecul: m-am exprimat la maximul posibilit\u0103\u021bilor mele \u0219i practic am dat tot ce pot.<\/p>\n<p>Ei bine, pentru foarte mul\u021bi dintre noi aceasta este o &#8222;statie terminus&#8221; periculoasa. Daca \u00eentr-adev\u0103r am f\u0103cut tot ceea ce ne st\u0103tea \u00een putere \u0219i rezultatul este un e\u0219ec, aceasta ar putea fi o lovitura prea tare pentru orgoliul personal. A\u0219a se explica nevoia de a caut\u0103 s\u0103 avem la \u00eendem\u0103na ceva sau pe cineva asupra c\u0103ruia s\u0103 putem descarc\u0103 vina, &#8222;fent\u00e2nd&#8221; asumarea propriei responsabilit\u0103\u021bi. Din nefericire acest comportament este extraordinar de r\u0103sp\u00e2ndit \u0219i pentru mul\u021bi a devenit practic un automatism.<br \/>\nAstfel devine posibil c\u0103:<br \/>\n&#8211; managerul s\u0103 descarce vina unui insucces asupra colaboratorilor lui;<br \/>\n&#8211; atletul s\u0103 &#8222;cedeze&#8221; vina antrenorului, sau regimului de preg\u0103tire pe care l-a parcurs;<br \/>\n&#8211; studentul s\u0103 dea vina pe profesor, pe lipsa de timp sau de c\u0103r\u021bi;<br \/>\n&#8211; comerciantul s\u0103 dea vina pe clien\u021bi;<br \/>\n&#8211; guvernul s\u0103 dea vina pe opozi\u021bie.<\/p>\n<p>\u0218i aceasta lista ar putea continua la nesf\u00e2r\u0219it&#8230;<br \/>\nDe obicei, pu\u021bine lucruri ne plictisesc mai mult dec\u00e2t explica\u021biile prin care cineva \u00eencearc\u0103 s\u0103 justifice un e\u0219ec. \u00cemi permit totu\u0219i s\u0103 v\u0103 sugerez c\u0103 data viitoare c\u00e2nd cineva v\u0103 sim\u021bi nevoia s\u0103 &#8222;v\u0103 pl\u00e2ng\u0103 pe umar&#8221; s\u0103 \u00eencerca\u021bi s\u0103 \u00eel asculta\u021bi cu aten\u021bie: ve\u021bi descoperi c\u0103 acuza\u021biile, pl\u00e2ngerile nu sunt folosite dec\u00e2t drept arguimente pentru a justifica e\u0219ecul.<br \/>\nDe fapt ceea ce respectivul vrea s\u0103 v\u0103 comunice este: &#8222;Nu-i vina mea, a\u0219 fi reu\u0219it daca&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2>Responsabilitate f\u0103r\u0103 alibiuri<\/h2>\n<p>Aten\u021bie mare la ce urmeaz\u0103 dup\u0103 acel &#8222;daca&#8221;. \u00cen noua cazuri din zece ve\u021bi constata c\u0103 este vorba de ceva care ar fi putut fi prevenit sau corectat far\u0103 mari eforturi.<br \/>\nDeparte de mine g\u00e2ndul de a sus\u021bine c\u0103 totul poate fi \u021binut sub control. \u0218i aceasta ar fi o utopie.<br \/>\n\u00cen acela\u0219i timp \u00eens\u0103 revin la ideea c\u0103 ori de cate ori &#8222;vocea interioara&#8221; v\u0103 avertizeaz\u0103 asupra unei probleme, a unui detaliu care v-a scap\u0103t, este cazul s\u0103 v\u0103 aduna\u021bi rezervele de r\u0103bdare \u0219i aten\u021bie pentru a \u00eenfrunt\u0103 \u0219i dep\u0103\u0219i respectivele piedici.<br \/>\nIntre noi fie vorba, nu sunt at\u00e2t de periculoase problemele mari, evidente, c\u00e2t cele aparent minore care sunt ignorate datorita unei mentalit\u0103\u021bi gre\u0219ite de tipul &#8222;Las\u0103 c\u0103 merge \u0219i a\u0219a&#8221;.<br \/>\nCunoa\u0219te\u021bi proverbul &#8222;Buturuga mica r\u0103stoarn\u0103 carul mare&#8221;. Acele detalii pe care din comoditate ne sim\u021bim \u00eendrept\u0103\u021bi\u021bi s\u0103 le ignoram vom \u00eencerc\u0103 ulterior s\u0103 le folosim drept scuze pentru e\u0219ecul nostru.<\/p>\n<p>Consecin\u021b\u0103 logica este o propozi\u021bie care pare cel pu\u021bin curioasa: <strong>cei mai mul\u021bi dintre noi au preg\u0103tite scuzele \u00eenainte de a cunoa\u0219te rezultatul.<\/strong><br \/>\nAvem tendin\u021b\u0103 de a ne face o rezerva de scuze, de a avea mereu un alibi la \u00eendem\u0103na: &#8222;Daca mi se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103&#8230;, o s\u0103 am preg\u0103tit\u0103 scuza aceasta&#8230;&#8221;. Astfel ne sim\u021bim mai lini\u0219ti\u021bi, \u00een siguran\u021b\u0103.<br \/>\nCe se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 \u00eens\u0103, atunci c\u00e2nd elimina\u021bi scuzele pentru c\u0103 da\u021bi ascultare &#8222;vocii&#8221; care v\u0103 sf\u0103tuie\u0219te?
